This store is normally great, but I agree with other reviewers who've cited strange behavior by a rude employee at this store. We too have now witnessed this. We were waiting in line when our cashier berated a woman who was returning something. Thankfully, the customer remained calm, albeit in shock. Having heard and seen everything that transpired we were mortified and felt extremely bad for the customer. We caught the cashier's name to be Hummera (or something similar). We have never seen or heard any employee in any store act rude and unhinged like this toward a customer. There literally is no excuse for that kind of treatment regardless of what was being returned. In retrospect, my wife and I regret not having been more vocal in defending the customer. Sprouts should have better training to prevent something this unacceptable, which has apparently happened to other reviewers in the past year. It was truly shameful and utterly uncivilized!

Love the new store at Gainey Ranch. Fresh tasty healthy choices. Excellent seafood department. Helpful and attentive staff. You won’t be sorry that you shop there

Some of the employees are awful! The last time I was in, I had items on the counter and the machine asked if I wanted cash. I said OK I’ll get some cash. The cashier shouted,”you can’t get cash here, I don’t have cash in my register.” I asked her if they had something I forgot, and she just shrugged her shoulders. I said, just forget it, and walked out. You’ve really got to watch the dates in that store!

CONSUMERS BEWARE! There is a continuing pattern of numerous EXPIRED products including dairy and perishable items that are not being removed from the shelves. Thus, customers are at risk of consuming expired goods and developing potential food poisoning as result of the store's negligence. I have notified the corporate office regarding this ongoing issue and informed the store manager as well. Per the manager (and Sprouts employees), the staff is unable to properly address and resolve this problem due to alleged issues with their warehouse in California and lack of employees. I asserted to the manager that the Gainey store should not be in operation if it cannot ensure the safe handling and management of food products. WARNING: CHECK PRODUCT DATES PRIOR TO PURCHASING FROM SPROUTS GAINEY VILLAGE!!!
